تويتر تطلق رسميا ميزة While you were away لنظام”آي أو إس”

أعلنت شركة تويتر الأربعاء عن إطلاق الميزة الجديدة التي جرى الحديث عنها أول مرة في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر الماضي، والتي تتيح للمستخدم البقاء على إطلاع على أهم التغريدات التي قد تفوته أثناء فترة انقطاعه عن الشبكة.
وقالت تويتر، التي تملك أبرز موقع للتدوين المصغر على الإنترنت، عبر مدونتها إن الهدف من الميزة التي تحمل اسم “الخلاصة” Recap مساعدة المستخدمين على الإطلاع على ما يجري في العالم بغض النظر عن المدة التي يقضونها على تويتر.
وأوضحت الشركة أن عدد التغريدات التي ستظهر تحت العنوان “بينما كنت بعيدا” While you were away يتناسب مع طول فترة انقطاع المستخدم عن الخدمة، فلو قضى المستخدم زمنا أطول بعيدا عن الخدمة سيظهر له تغريدات أكثر، وبالعكس.
وأوضحت تويتر أمس الأربعاء عبر مدونتها أن التغريدات التي ستظهر ضمن تبويب While you were away تستند إلى خوارزمية مبنية على تفاعل المستخدم، إضافة إلى عوامل أخرى.
ومع بداية العام الجديد، كان قد أبلغ عدد من مستخدمي تويتر حول العالم عن بدء ظهور ميزة While You Were Away عقب ولوجهم إلى حساباتهم بالشبكة الاجتماعية وبدء تصفح صفحة الإطار الزمني.
يُذكر أن الميزة الجديدة متاحة الآن لمستخدمي تطبيق تويتر على نظام “آي أو إس” المشغل لأجهزة شركة أبل الذكية فقط، لكن الشركة وعدت بإتاحتها قريبا لنظام أندرويد ولنسخة الويب من شبكتها الاجتماعية.
وتأمل تويتر في تستقطب الميزة الجديدة المزيد من المستخدمين، وهي التي أبلغت في شهر تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي عن بلوغ عددهم 284 مليون مستخدم نشط شهريا، وبزيادة قدرها 23 بالمئة مقارنة بالربع الثالث من العام 2013.

وأكدت مايكروسوفت خلال الحدث رسمياً أن “ويندوز 10″ هو الاسم الوحيد لنظام التشغيل الجديد على كافة المنصات، حيث سيعمل كنظام موحد لتشغيل الحواسب المكتبية والمحمولة بجانب الحواسب اللوحية والهواتف الذكية وجهاز الألعاب إكس بوكس وان.
وقال تيري مايرسون، نائب رئيس مايكروسوفت لشئون أنظمة التشغيل، أن طوال السنة الأولى عقب طرح نظام “ويندوز 10″ سيكون متاحا لمستخدمي الأجهزة العاملة بنظام “ويندوز 8.1″ الترقية مجاناً إلى النظام الأحدث.
وأضاف مايروسون أن التحديث إلى نظام “ويندوز 10″ سيكون مجانياً أيضاً طيلة العام الأول من الطرح لأصحاب الهواتف الذكية العاملة بنظام “ويندوز فون 8.1″، إضافة إلى أصحاب الأجهزة العاملة بنظام “ويندوز 7″.
وأوضح نائب رئيس مايكروسوفت أن فور قيام المستخدم بالتحديث إلى “ويندوز 10″ سيحظى بدعم كامل مدى الحياة لجهازه، حيث أكد أن شركته ستقدم دعم طويل المدى للطريقة التي سيتحول نظام “ويندوز” إليها عند إطلاق النظام الجديد.
وشدد مايرسون على أن مايكروسوفت لا تعتبر نظام “ويندوز 10″ مجرد إصدار جديد من نظام تشغيل “ويندوز”، ولكن تعتبره “تغييرا للعبة”، حيث سيتحول “ويندوز” من مجرد نظام للتشغيل إلى خدمة عالمية تخدم المستخدمين العاديين والمطورين.
وأشار مايرسون إلى أن المطورين سيكونوا قادرين عقب إطلاق “ويندوز 10″ قادرين على تطوير تطبيقات تعمل على كافة أجهزة ويندوز، دون الحاجة لتطوير تطبيق مخصص لكل منصة على حدى.
يذكر أن نظام تشغيل “ويندوز 10″ تم تنزيل إصداره التجريبي وتنصيبه على نحو ثلاثة ملايين جهاز منذ الكشف عنه أول مرة خلال العام الماضي.
